 "Fish the Magish" Educational Presentations

Preschools- It's no secret that preschool children love "Fish the Magish". For more than 15 years, kids from ages 3 and up have enjoyed  his "Magical Friendship Show". Many themes are available. Each comedy educational presentation includes a refreshing mix of storytelling, lively audience participation, and magical surprise for everyone! (Including adults) Typically, the show length is approximately 30 minutes. The goal is to motivate, stimulate, and educate through a live exposure to the performing arts.

Elementary Schools- School age children love magic and especially when it's presented by "Fish the Magish". Specializing in programs for children, each show is curriculum based with standards of learning always a priority. Themed programs can be adapted to focus In the four core areas: English, Mathematics, Science, and History/Social Science.

Junior High Schools- Older students are a little "too cool" for magic, but not when Fish the Magish arrives. His upbeat style allows for positive interaction with all ages. His "Magic Class" is a big hit with this age. They like to see magic, but they LOVE to learn it.

In Service Magic Class for Teachers- Open up a wonderful new avenue to get student's attention and hold it with easy magic tricks that teach. Magic can be used in many ways in the classroom. It's only limited by your imagination.

 


"Building Dreams, the ABC's of Character"

The ABC’s of Character is a 45 minute audience participation magic show that focuses in three areas…Attitude of Respect and Responsibility, Being Kind and Fair, and Caring About Yourself, Others, and Your Community.  

The literal meaning of education is to draw out that which is within. Some children are fortunate in that they are nurtured and loved. They have dreams. Some are not so fortunate. They do not have dreams. We need to help them all dream, to help them explore, and to help them discover what life has for them and what life ask of them.

The "Fish the Magish" reading magic show is fun for all ages and can be adapted for ages 3-12. The primary focus is helping children to experience the "fun" of learning through books.

Why are Fish the Magish programs popular with administrators?

Hassle free- The program is totally self contained. All that is needed is an open space filled with students, teachers, parents, and anyone else that likes to laugh and learn. Gyms, media centers, auditoriums, no problem!
Minimum paperwork- You are provided a simple FAX BACK form and the show is on. If you want to get exposure in the local paper art work is provided to submit to your local paper for a NEWS RELEASE.
Educational message- Although your program is very entertaining, the emphasis is on the “message”. Several themes are available with the primary focus on the standards of learning for your group. Teacher’s Guides are provided for effective preplanning and follow up after the program.
Minimum set up time- Your school time is important. Set up time is minimal (only 15 minutes) and each show is 45 minutes maximum. Many schools easily complete two programs before lunch. This program is not “prop heavy”, but filled with a refreshing mix of magic, audience participation, and life changing messages.
Adaptable- Many program ideas come from educators like you. In addition to the exciting assembly program for the students, other sessions can also be valuable. In service training for teachers, parent’s meeting, etc. can be arranged to make this a learning experience for everyone.
